Description

This qualification is part of the business services training package. It provides students with the skills and knowledge to perform a broad range of competencies using discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge within a customer service environment.

Subjects

Core: use multiple information systems; Deliver and monitor a service to customer; Apply knowledge of OHS legislation in the work place; Develop product knowledge; Work effectively with others; Organise personal work priorities and development. Electives: Conduct data collection; Deploy customer service field staff; Conduct a telemarketing campaign; Provide sales solutions to customers; Process credit applications; Process complex accounts, service severance and defaults: plus more.

Entry

Certificate II in customer contact; relevant vocation experience or equivalent.

Certificate III in Retail

Description

This qualification is part of the Retail services Training package. It provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in Retail operations and/or supervision with the need to apply discretion and judgement. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets. Individuals may have some responsibility for others and provide or hold specific coordination or support responsibilities within a store team. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

Entry

Students must show satisfactory knowledge of the industry either through employment experience or prior study. Some training provides require applicants to be employed under a trainee.
